I love crappy cars. I find inept handling and languid acceleration endearing in an older car. Therefore, I adore the 1974 Bricklin SV-1. Oh yes, it’s about to get 70’s in here.

I recently drove this SV-1 as part of a review for Driving.ca. If you’re interested, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I always had a sick love for the Bricklin. I know they were built with all the care and precision of a Siberian labourer at the end of a 13 hour shift but I just don’t care. It’s unique! It’s old! It smells like New Brunswick and glue!

It honestly drives a lot like my old 1988 Firebird. It feels heavy and solid on the road and you can barely hear the V8 over the sound of creaking panels. But man is it fun. Would you rather have a DeLorean or this?

“Face it , the car was junk from the beginning but made famous by Back to the Future . Workmanship / fit and finish was laughable , no power , and no handling or braking . Best thing to do is find another suc.....um , buyer to take over this “legend in it’s own mind ”

The commenters on your site may be stupid, by the way. Does anyone want to tell him he’s thinking of a Delorean, or should I?

Not that I commented, but I did. My favourite experts on cars are internet experts who are wrong.
